Quickly catching up on things

Well, I need to finish catching up on everything that happened in August, so here I go:


August 6th: Stephanie and Allison came over one day and spent the night! That was a lot of fun. We got a piece of wood, and wrote on it 'No Swimming' and drew a person swimming and crossed it out. We wanted to go swimming and hold the sign up and take a picture. The other side of the wood, we wrote 'no diving' and drew a person diving and crossed it out. We ended up going swimming (the next day), but we forgot to get the sign, so instead we stuck it on top of the toilet. :D



August 7th, Me, Adam, Luke, Stephanie, Allison, and Luke's friend Craig all went swimming in our lake. It took forever before Craig got in. Me and Luke swam to where he was standing on the shore, and pulled him in.


After we finished swimming, Luke's two friends Jonathan and Lexi came over. We all hung out in the living room for a long time, until Stephanie and Allison had to go home. So Craig, Lexi, and Jonathan left, and Luke went with mom to take Stephanie and Allison home.

August 7th: That night, my mom and I went to a small theatre, and we were ushers! We handed out programs as people came in, and we got to watch the play! It was High School Musical. I think their performance was better than the movie! It was soooo funny! The person who play Ryan was HILARIOUS. After the show, the cast came out back, and everyone got to meet them. I got (I'll use their play names) Ryan's, Sharpey's, and Gabriella's autographs. :D I had a good time. :)

August 8th: Well, since Crayon, Mikaela, and Polo (all the puppies I wanted to foster) got adopted, we decided to foster Jessica. :) Jessica is a 1 year old, brindle female pit bull mix. She (along with Ranger and Amy) is the BEST dog EVER! I want to adopt her, but mom and dad said only two dogs at a time *rolls eyes*. She is a little bit smaller than Amy, and is so cool. In the mornings when mom comes to wake us kids up, she follows her upstairs into our rooms and just follows mom everywhere around the house. Sometimes she can get VERY hyper, it's so funny. She loves Ranger and Amy, but Ranger doesn't really like her that much. She and Amy play a lot. I've taught her to sit, shake (with both paws *wink*), lay, and basically rollover. And I'm working on stay. I will post a slide show of her later. I also have several videos of her, I'll try to post later.

August 10th: I was walking Jessica by the lake (barefoot) when she jumped away and slipped out of her collar. I jumped after her, and my right pinkie toe hit a stump. I fell down, and quickly put the leash around Jessica's neck and put her collar back on. I was in a lot of pain (my toe). I sat out there for like 30 minutes before I finally slowly scooted on my rear up to the house which was kinda a long way to scoot. I didn't walk on that foot for like a week, and I figured I broke my toe. I didn't walk on it until you read another paragraph.

August 14th: My youth pastor's wife Andrea had her first baby Kaylee Grace *******!! She was born 10 days before her due date. The next Thursday, mom, Luke, Adam, and I went to see her. She's so tiny and cute!!!

August 16th: The animal shelter held a 'Pet's in the Park' thing at some place. They had a tent with things to sell, and they brought some of their dogs (we brought Jessica). They got k9 police men to come and do a demonstration. They had a dog sniff out marijuana in a car. It took him a while, cause there was a lot of people and other dogs around, and he gets a little bit distracted. I filmed that, so I will post it on here ASAP. The video is on the other computer (I'm on the laptop), so I'll have to wait till I can get on there. But a lot of people showed up at the 'pet's in the park' thing, and brought a lot of dogs. I saw soo many different breeds, and some funny costumes, I'll post pictures later.

They had a small dog show too. Only two dogs entered the tricks contest, and only one did tricks! LOL! It was pretty obvious on the biggest dog smallest dog. The biggest dog was a really fluffy Samoyed, and the smallest dog was a 4 month old teacup poodle in a tutu. She was so cute!

August 26th: At 9:30pm this day, my piano/voice teacher Mrs. Mica, had her first baby, Maci Renee ****. I haven't seen her yet, but I can't wait to see what she looks like. She was 3 weeks early. Her due date wasn't until September 14th.

August 30th (today): GUESS WHAT!?!? My friend and her brother (Luke's friend) live in Florida, and Luke and I are going to fly by ourselves to visit them!! We leave tomorrow, and will be back Friday. We will have to switch plans in North Carolina. I'm so excited. It's one of many adventures ahead of me.
One flight mom found would have taken us to Michigan, then to Flordia. CRAZY!!

I will take my journal with me on the trip like I did when I went to Utah, and write in it everyday, so I can tell you about all the fun I had on this adventure. Speaking of Utah, I still haven't posted pictures from my trip there. I need to do that.

I have to go pack, and do some stuff, so TTYL!!!

My 100th Post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally made it to 100!! I made a poll about blog posts under all my posts, so don't forget to vote on that!!

My friend Zaina (also my blogger buddy Mitch) is staying at... I think her aunt and uncles house... But anyways, I spent the night with her Thursday night. We went to a $2.50 movie theatre (I mean that the movie tickets cost $2.50 each) and saw the movie College Road Trip. Click HERE to see the review of that movie that Mitch/Zaina and I wrote.

We ordered pizza for dinner (yum!), and watched t.v. and did stuff on the computer, and played Wii (FUN!!). Zaina -- actually I'll call her Mitch. MITCH is soo much better at Wii than I am!! But it was fun! Oh, before we got to play, Mitch;s lil bro was playing, and he finally let us play, and right before we could even push one button, Mitch's mom came in and said, "Time to go!!". We're like, "Are you kidding!?" LOL. It was funny...

That night, after everyone went to bed, we played Wii for a while (it was in the room we slept in), and then got on the laptop that we brought in there. We stayed up until like 12 or 12:30am. I slept backwards. IDK why, I just couldn't get comfortable the real way, so I turned around backwards. :D I do that a lot. I dunno why, just to be different I guess!

ANYWHOO....

The next day, we just like watched TV and did computer until like 2! But before I had to go home, we changed into our swimsuits and got out water balloons! We took up most of the time filling up water balloons, and when we'd move them or use them, most of them would pop super easily! Mitch threw several of the balloons at me, but they just bounced off me (hard! they hurt!) then fell on the ground, and THEN they busted!! We also played the "balloon toss" (I guess that's what it's called) game. We weren't very good, but it was fun!

As me and Mitch were waiting outside for our towels, one of Mitch's lil bros pushed between me and Mitch, and I stepped back, and scrapped my left heel on a brick wall. It hurt pretty bad.

When I looked at it, it was kind of big, and bloody! I was like, ugh! It hurt pretty bad, and the next time I looked at it, I didn't feel good (not kidding!). I was kinda dizzyish, and my foot hurt! Mitch's mom put a big band-aid on it, and then I went to change clothes. I felt really dizzy, and the next thing I know I'm laying on the ground. I guess I passed out. I also hit my head on a wall, and now I got a really sensitive bruise on my left -- no right -- eyebrow.

Today at church, it hurt to wear my shoes (although they was no back to them). And I have to walk with that foot (my left one) on my tippy toe (I sound like I'm a little kid when I say that...). Anywhoo.. I hope it heals soon!!

Another thing: Last night, Luke went to see Batman with some of his friends, one being Jacob from CAPS (Civil Air Patrol). He's like 17 or something like that. Anyways, he needed a place to stay that night, so he stayed in our guest room. He went to church with us, and out to eat too. Luke, Jacob, and their friend Craig just left to go somewhere... Anyways, he is like really good at playing guitar, and piano. Mom said he might stay another night, not sure.

Last Day in Utah

Howdy guys and gals!

'sup? Sorry I never posted about my last day in Utah. IDK why I didn't. So I'll do it now:



Dear Journal, 2-28-08



We're in a teeny plane right now about to take off. Well, there was 15 planes, but 6 have already taken off. *sigh*.

Yesterday, we went Horse back riding sort of in the mountains! It was an hour ride. Original price was $55 PER person! So we weren't going to do it, but the lady called back and said they'd do it for 45 bucks per person. So we did it!

I rode a really pretty palomino/white paint LOOKING Quarter Horse, named Willie, after Willie Nelson. Dad rode a black Quarter Horse (all the horses were Quarter Horse) named Grace. Adam rode a chestnut -- Graham. Luke - a red chestnut - Howard. And mom rode a brown and white paint looking Quarter Horse named Bandy. We had a pretty view riding up the mountain. The guide had the most beautiful Horse out of the horses we rode. He was a Grulla!! A rare color, that's really pretty.

After that, we went shopping in some stores in the town. Me and mom went into a pet store that sold only pet accessories/treats. When we first walked in, we saw a HUGE black dog sleeping on the floor. We thought he was a really big stuffed animal Dog, until we saw him blink. The owner of the dog and store said he was a New Foundland Dog. She said she had THREE Newfoundlands!! Two were there at the store, and one was on a walk. I LOVED those Dogs. I sat on the floor and snuggled one. It was the kind of Dog I've always really wanted. A HUGE friendly, and really FLUFFY Dog. They make a good pillow/stuffed animal!! I got for free dog treats at that store I'm gonna give to Amy and Ranger. :)

We went into another store, and me, Luke, and Adam bought mammaw and Poppa a wooden sign that said, 'We're not retired, we're tired.'

After we finished lookin' at the stores, we drove around and looked at the mountains. We even got to touch some 'slushy snow'! There was quite a bit of snow, but it wasn't cold outside.

TODAY:

We got up, got our stuff together, and listened to music before time to go. Then we drove to g-ma and g-pa's work. We said good-bye to g-ma, and g-pa took my family and I to the airport.

We got some food, and ate while waiting for our flight. The plane we got on was a new plane, and had almost half the plane empty!! Adam had 3 seats to himself. Then mom moved back to him, and I had 3 seats to myself, so I laid down, but I couldn't go to sleep.

In the air-port, I bought a doodle book thingy, a quiz book, and a mad lib book. I wanted a magazine all about the Jonas Brothers, but mom wouldn't let me buy it. :(

Then I called Zaina, and we talked until I got on the plane, and I had to turn off the phone.

It took forever to take off, cause there was like 15 planes ahead of us, then the plane coming in for a landing had some kind of an emergency, and a lot of fire trucks, police, and ambulances came, and that delayed us even more. So we took of almost the same time we were supposed to be in the airport in the city where I live!!

Well, I guess that's all of this trip, so TTYL!

Utah Trip Day 4 and 5

Dear Journal,

11:26am-
Me, Adam, Luke, dad, and mom are in the SUV going somwhere...
Sorry I haven't updated you. The day before yesterday we FINALLY got to see: *drum roll please* CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It...was....COOLIO! But I like the first one better. (I'll write about it in another post after this one) But I still liked it a lot.

We're going in a museum, so TTYL! - 11:45pm?

I'm now talking on the phone with Zaina, so TTYL! 2:48pm

2:55pm-
OK, yesterday, ALL DAY LONG we drove along the Pony Express trail, which was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out in the middle of no where. There was lot's of Utah desert. ALL DAY LONG. Me, Luke, and Adam started to climb a mountain. BRB - 3:00pm.

3:24pm-
We were almost at the top of the mountain, when dad called us back. :( Sad. I REALLY wanted/needed to make it to the top. :( Oh well..... We saw quite a few Pronghorns out there which was pretty cool. We even saw two Jackrabbits!!

When we stopped at a Pony Express Station, me, dad, and the boys, climbed up a big rock, and looked out over the beautiful rocks and nothing of the Utah desert. After we videoed and took pictures, we went back down, and drove. Again, after a little bit, we got a flat. (we were in a rental vehicle) After we fixed it, we dove. And drove. AND drove. And..ect.. after many hours of driving that day, we finally got home and went to bed.

TODAY

G-ma and G-pa had to work today, so the rest of us went to a museum. We looked at train stuff, and old cars, and a lot of guns. I think the Cars were the most interesting. I bought a tiny Utah glass (like you'd use in a western saloon) in the gift shop, I'm going to collect now.

When we left the museum, we went to an antique gift shop, and I bought an old key, since I collect keys. Luke bought an old lighter. Then we went to another store that had some Western stuff, but nobody bought anything.

Then we came back here to the apartment. A guy that we haven't seen in 8 years -- Burke -- came over for dinner and is still here. 8 years ago, he lived with g-ma and g-pa. Me, Adam, and Luke loved him. We'd swim and play with him it was fun. But now, us kids are a lot bigger!! Well, I gotta go, so TTYL!!! - 9:42pm

Utah Trip Day 3

Dear Journal,

10:05am-
Last night, we drove through the city to a small mountain like thing. We climbed the trail up to the top. It was so pretty, and hard work gettin up there. I was outta breath.

When we were at the top, we could see all of Salt Lake City, the Salt Lake itself, and other mountains. There was a few mountains, that were the rock kind, with snow on top!! First time I've seen one of them in real life. Before that, the only mountains I had seen in real life, where the ones covered and trees, that look more like a big hill. But this was a beautiful view, but the wind was blowing coldly!!

Grandpa, Grandma, Mom, Luke and Adam went back down, and me and dad stayed up there a little longer until it got darker. I started to call Zoe, (it was 9:30 where we were) then I realized that it was an hour later at her house, so I called my grandparents back home. Then me and Dad walked back down and talked about...stuff. I don't remember, lol.

We're about to go out again, so TTYL!

Almost noon- We're in the Family History Library (FHL) right now waiting for grandpa to get outta the bathroom. Grandma is giving us a tour of the 5 - story building.

Next, we go to the musem. Then come back to the FHL to do FH (family history) research. I'm going to look for Mammaw's (my dad's mom) dad. Dad's going to look for Poppa (my dad's dad) info. Grandpa's back, so TTYL!! - a few minutes lata

A Little later- Me and Adam keep taking the stairs and getting ahead. Right now, we're WAAAY ahead of them. We were' on the 2nd floor (everyone else is on the 3rd floor), and they haven't even gotten TO the elevator yet!! Their here now, so TTYL! - 2 minutes lata

2:08pm - We spent a long time researching family information. I was looking for Mammaw's dad (Morris), but never could find anything :(

I looked at a R (can't tell you the name, because it's my g-ma's maiden name, and I don't need to put last names on here) micro film. That was col. I loved to roll the thingie to move the "paper" or film, whatever it's called. I found a RFM (once again, can't say the R last name) newsletter. It was cool. The issue that I looked at was in 1980, so Morris was already dead by then. :(

On the way out, a small old lady asked me, "Isn't it fun, spending the daaaay with your grandmaa and grandpaa?" She freaked me out. She had this huge fake looking smile, and wide eyes, and talked to me as if I didn't speak or understand English. Weeeirdddd..... <-- copy of the way the lady talked.

Now we're in the SUV going back to the apartment to eat lunch. TTYL! - 2:23PM

Utah Trip Day 2

Dear Journal,

9:35am- Sry I didn't write anymore yesterday, I didn't feel like it although I had plenty of time.

We are sitting a the table eating eggs, bacon, and rolls with grandma and grandpa.

FILL IN OF YESTERDAY WHEN I DIDN'T WRITE ANYTHING

When we got off the plane in Houston Texas, we went to a restaurant (in the airport of course) to eat dinner. I didn't want anything there, so daddy took me next door to Papa Jon's (sp?) and got me a big slice of pizza, and went back to the other restaurant. We stayed in there a while, cause it took a long time to get everyone else's food. Then we went to this awesome Indian like store, that was really cool. There was a really pretty penny bracelet, and some other pretty stuff. I was trying to find some cool Wolf stuff, but I didn't get anything. But when we go back when we go back home, I want to buy this really relaxing CD they had there. They had a Wolf CD, but they had a person singing, and I didn't like it. LOL.

Then we had to leave :(. We waited for a little bit before our plane was ready to leave. While we were waiting, dad was sitting by a U.S. Army guy! IDK why I think those guys are so cool, I just do. I told dad to ask him if he was going home, and he was!! He would be going home for a month, then I guess leaving again. I wish he could stay home for longer than a month... Then a few minutes later, I saw 2 more Army guys walk by, then a little later, I saw another one walk by. :) I hope their all going home to their families.

Then we boarded the plane. We were all separated, each sitting in between two people. There was a Chinese or Japanese or some foreign woman sitting on my left who listened to her ipod and slept for half the time. On my right, was a guy that looked like he belonged in the army. He was bald, muscular, and probably in his late 20's. He listened to his ipod some. But then he watched the movie they played on the plane. It was called 'Sabrina'. It was kind of a weird movie. Love movie. Weird love movie. Harrison Ford starred in it.

Anywhoo... The plane ride was about 2 hours and 15 minutes, but seemed much longer. That might be because it took a while before we took off. There was a lot of planes in front of us. It was late, I was tired, and it wasn't a good place to sleep at, lol. FINALLY it ended, but we had to wait for our luggage. *groan* While we were waiting, there was this Portoricion (sp?) guy that was walking around with the most SILLIEST, DUMBEST, most CONFUSED face EVER in the history of silliest, dumbest, confused faces. It was SOOO funny!! I laughed so hard, which luckily woke me up. And Luke was pretending to be him by saying, "Where am I? This isn't Portorico (sp?)!!"

Then we say a monk! Yes, a monk. He it was this short bald dude, with an orange sheet wrapped around him. LOL. We've seen some STRAAANGE people!!

Finally, we go our luggage, and went outside to wait for Grandpa. It was cold, and I was wearing shorts. Finally Grandpa got there, and we rode to his apartment. I laid down on the couch and almost fell asleep. Then they made me move into the room that mom and dad were sleeping in (in grandma and grandpa's bed). I was going to sleep on the floor, Grandma on the couch, Grandpa on his recliner, and Luke and Adam on an air mattress in the living room.

Now, about TODAY:

After breakfast, we went to this cool building in a tour (just us and our guide). Our guide was fun. On top of the building was lots of trees and grass and pants and a water fall! It was so cool!!! It had cool views of the city and the mountains. I took a lot of pictures (that I will post on here when I get home). While were on top, we saw a man on another building washing windows, and I took a picture lol. And either dad or grandpa (can't remember) waved at him. lol.

After that, we went to the Church Office Building, that had 26 stories!! We went to the 26th one, and went out onto the roof, which had an AWESOME view of the city, and the mountains, and the Mormon temple (my grandparents are Mormons, while my family and I are Assembly of God). We got to see all the cars driving by, it was really cool. One vehicle had a raft (for whitewater rafting) on their roof.

Then we came here to a food court, and we ate. Now we're going...somewhere.

Back! OK, we went into a building, and watched a Mormon movie called "Joseph Smith", then

we walked home to here where I am now. TTYL!!

Utah Trip Day 1

So you all know (I think..) that I am now in Salt Lake City, Utah visiting my grandpa and grandma (step, but we still call her grandma). I'm going to write about the first day as I wrote it in my journal:

Dear Journal,

12:33pm - Our whole family is in the van right now at the church that Luke does German Classes at.
After his classes, we will go to the airport, and fly to Salt Lake City, Utah to visit my Grandparents who are on a year long mission trip!! It'll be my first time in Utah. :)
I'm listening to the song 'The one I'm waiting for' (by Reliant K) on Adam's Mp-3 player.
Yum Yum! I'm eating a sub sandwhich. And an Apple slice, and oo! Adam gave me an Oreo cookie!!
12:55pm- Well, I guess I'll write lata.

3:54pm- We've been sitting in the airport for about 30-45 minutes. The plan LEAVES at 4:26pm. *sigh* Mom bought me a $4.00 Disney Magazine in the gift shop. :) Mostly the Jonas Brothers are in it. :D I'm gonna read it on the plane. It's hard not reading it right now.

Me and mom read Horse Illistrated magazines to keep us busy for a while. She read an article about Cushings diesese, and I read about mounted games. I want to do mounted games now!!! Well, I'm gonna go in the gift shope, so ttyl! -4:07pm

4:45pm- We're on the plane taking off RIGHT NOW. Well, taxing off anyway. This is a TINY SQUASHED plane, and a really annoying sound is happenin. The sound stopped. We're just about to take off! We ain't moving at al right now. *sigh* *rolls eyes*. We're waiting in line for the other planes to take off.

few minutes later- We're in the air, and the clouds are BEAUTIFUL!! (I'll post pictures later)

Utah Trip

Hey Guys,

As you can tell by my title, my family and I are going to Utah. We're goin to go visit my grandparents who are on a year mission trip.

Sry I haven't posted in a while. I have quite a few post to post about, but I don't know why I haven't done them. Hopefully I can do them on my trip.

Anywhoo... just to let you know, it might be even LONGER for me to post. I don't know. We're leaving today, and will be back on the twenty-eighth. Then, four days later, we'll be at youth camp!! Youth camp is the 2nd-6th. Can't wait! But there is only going to be 2 other girls besides myself from our youth group that are going. :( Zoe is one of them! :) And my mom is going as a chaperon (sp?).

Well, I got to go to an eye exam thing, so ttyl!!

Goats/Hamsters/Costa Rico

Hey!
Several things... Well, today, Luke's boss Mrs. Tompson called us, and said that one of her goats was having a baby. So we (mom, me, and Adam) drove over there. By the time we got there, the goat (Ellie) had had one kid. A really really pretty brown colored one, with one white splotch on him. Then, we got to see his BEAUTIFUL sister be born! It didn't take long, but she was soooo cute! She was white, with black spots. and was everyone's favorite. Another goat in the other stall, was in labour. She was also sort of crippled. But I had to go to piano lessons.
When we got back, the goat that is sort of crippled had two kids! Well, she didn't have them when me and mom were there (Adam didn't come the second time), but she had the two kids (one was a boy, and one a girl) while we were at piano lessons. They weren't as cute as Ellie's kids, but I did pet them. I petted Ellie's kids for a long time. Everytime a scratched them near their tail, they would wag it. Maybe I can get some pictures (MAYBE) and put them on here. Another of her goats is probably going to have babies tonight.

Oh, and Luke is in Costa Rico right now (on a mission trip) with some other men (and another teenager) from our church. He left Monday morning at 3:30am, and he will be back sometime this comeing Monday. They are building a house for some missonaires there in Costa Rico. Saturday is their free day, and they will go to the jungle, go down a huge zip line, and see monkies and parrots and other rainforest animals, and take lots of pictures! Luke has already sent some pictures. But their not like really cool or anything, mostly just where their working, and them. When I get some really cool ones, I'll put them on here. Well, I would really appreciate it if you all could pray for Luke, and all the other people that are on this mission trip to be safe, have a great time, and for them to be able to witness to people while their there, and learn a lot.

Dear Journal, Monday 12/10/07

11:26am- We are packing up now. We're about to leave. Nobody got any deer earlier this morning, but I still had fun 'cause me & Poppa saw SEVEN deer! 1 was a big buck, and I was too scared to shoot it (and now I REALLY rue that moment), so Poppa took a shot at him. He missed. Poppa had jerked the trigger instead of slowly pulling it.
A few minutes after that, Adam (he and Dad hunted in Pop's stand. Me & Poppa in Kyle's stand, and Luke in Zack's stand) had shot at a 6+ pt buck, but missed. :(.
Later, me and Poppa saw three doe (a big one & 2 smaller ones) eating corn (south. The buck was North.). I was probably going to shoot the ig doe, but then one of the little one's gt right in my way of shooting :(. Then they saw/heard something, stuck up their tails, and ran into the woods.
Later, we saw a small doe way at the top of the hill. It was west, but North of the stand. It was too far away, so we waited to see if a bigger deer (maybe even a buck!) would come out and come closer. But unfortunately, the deer just walked back into the woods, and nothing else came out.
A little while later, we spotted a small doe on the lower hill -- East. It was to far away for me to shoot (really for anyone), so I watched her through my binoculars, while Poppa was tring to load the gun. I looked back in my binoculars, and saw another deer! The deer was a big doe. She was sticking her head out of the woods. I told Poppa. He was still trying to load the gun which wouldn't. He looked through the binoculars at the deer, then handed them back to me. The big doe kept looking at us. Then she SLOWLY started to come out of the woods. A few minutes later, the smaller doe started to follow. The little 1 disappeard. The big one almost half in the woods. Poppa finally got the gun to load. He raised the gun. He looked through the scope. He aimed. BANG! He shot. The shot made me jump, so I had stopped looking through the binoculars (on accident) but for only a split second. I immeadeatly looked back through. The doe. Gone. That was the last of the deer we saw today. Luke never saw a deer. Adam shot at one and missed.
Me and Poppa got out of the stand, and went around the small pond to go see if the doe or only blood was there. None. Nata. Squat. After walking around for a few minutes, we went back up to the feeder where the buck had been. Nothing there either, except some sorta footprints of when he sprinted off into the woods. The others (Adam, Luke, and Dad) met us there at the feeder, and we checked around the feeder. When we saw no blood, we went back to where Poppa shot at the doe. Still nothing.

We are now on the interstate heading home! Home Sweet Home! I had a good time. I'm really glad I got to see some deer. ELEVEN of them! 10 Does, and 1 Buck. Me and Poppa both have seen 11 deer, and we've seen the most out of everyone! Well, I don't know how many Mr. Baugh, Jason, Kelsey, and Kyle saw, but I think me and Poppa saw the most. I've also seen LOTS of birds and bugs, 1 rabbit, 2 squirrels, and 1 racoon. I've also seen 1 dead Bobcat, and several dead deer (the others that weren't Luke's were Mr. Baugh's and Jason's from previous hunts). Well, that's about all. I guess, so Write to you later!

Hunting Trip, 3

Dear Journal, Sunday 12/9/07

4:51am- We are about to go next door, then hunting. :) Well, I have to go brush my teeth. TTUL! -4:52am

10:57am- We just got back from the morning hunt. Luke got a spike (2 pt. buck)! Except he only has 1 horn! Adam shot a 1 out of 4 does, but missed. Me, Poppa, and Mr. Baugh saw a beautiful racoon, and 2 does. The deer were gone before I had a change to shoot at one of them. Luke is about to skin the deer. Kelsey & Kyle saw 5 deer, but didn't shoot. Jason did not hunt today, so Adam went with dad, & Luke hunted by himself. Well, g2g eat! TTUL! -11:01am

8:41pm- Me & dad hunted in Kyle's stand (it is a BIG one, with a GREAT veiw!) saw 3 doe about 100 yards away, but I didn't shoot one. I rue (regret) that moment. About 10 minutes after the deer went into the woods, Poppa shot at a deer (he was hunting by himself in Pop's {Mr. Baugh} stand). We're not sure if he hit the doe or not. After looking for a while for blood, we came back to Mr. Baugh's house.
Mr. Baugh & Adam never saw any deer (me now: I don't remember which stand they hunted in). We are going to hunt tommorrow morning, then go home. I'm hunting with Poppa, Adam with dad, and Luke again by himself. Well, g2g 2 bed, TTUT! -8:50pm

Hunting Trip, Day 2

Dear Journal, Saturday, 12/8/07

4:34am- Dad's in the shower, Adam & Luke are walking around, and I'm about to change clothes. -4:35am

4:43am- OK. Um a little mad at Luke and Adam. They JUST told me to bring clothes that can get bloody & muddy! Urg! Got to brush my hair, so see ya!
-4:45am

2:30pm- Nobody got any deer. Jason (he was hunting with Luke) spotted 4, but nobody else did. We got back at about 10:00am. Then we went to the Baugh's house to rest. At 3:00pm we are going to go hunting again -2:32pm

9:31pm- We just got back from the Baugh's house. We were watching some of the deer (on video) that some of the others (Kelsey & Kyle) have seen/shot.
Nobody saw any deer earlier. The only animal me & dad saw besides bugs and birds was a rabbit. But. . . .Luke DID kill somthin! It was a. . . .BOBCAT! A big female Bobcat. Luke is going to get her stuffed.
Tomrrowm, I'm going to hunt with Poppa & Mr. Baugh in Jason't condo stand. Luke will hunt with Dad, and Adam with Jason (me now: but that didn't happen. Luke hunted by himself, Adam with dad, and Jason didn't hunt), Kelsey & her dad (me now: which actually she didn't go hunting again). Well, g2g 2 bed! TTUT! -9:48pm

Hunting Trip, Day 1

This past weekend, me, my 2 bros, dad, and Poppa, went to Arkansas to go hunting. I wrote in my journal about it. I won't write about on the way there, cause it's kind of dumb, but if you want me to, I will. Well below is Day 1:

Dear Journal, Friday 12/7/07

3:04pm- We're here! -3:14pm

4:11pm- Mr. & Mrs. Baugh aren't here yet, but the're dogs are here! YEAH! The first one we saw was a female German Shepherd. Her name is Molly. Then, a little while later, a female chocolate lab came from behind the house. We don't know her name, but since she had a red collar that had Mickey Mouse on it, and since she was a girl, I named her Minnie. She loves to retreive a yellow football squeaky toy.
Luke is blowing bubbles in Minnie's face, and she's eating them! Now he is playing with her. I am going to play too, see ya! -4:29pm

4:45pm- Mr. Jim Baugh just got here, and we are driving over to the trailer (which is just behind the house). -4:45pm

9:15pm- We just got back from the Baugh's house. I think we're about to play cards, then go to bed. We have to get up at 4:30! AM! -9:17pm

9:46pm- We just finished playing Go Fish. Me or Dad won, not sure. We have to go to bed now, TTUT! -9:46pm

G-parents house

Hey!
I have posted one long post on my Valley Training blog. But that's not what I'm supposed to be talking about on THIS blog. Ok.
We loaded up the van with our suitcases this morning, and mom left to run errands with Luke, while I went with dad so he could go do a few things at the office. A FEW things turned out to be a LOT of things. So we didn't leave until 2 something. Then we went to Tellines (or however it's spelt) to eat lunch with mom and Luke. But mom and Luke had already eaten, so they just sat. Then FINALLY we were on our way to Arkanas. Oh yeah, before we went to the office, me and dad went to pick up to boxes full of Horse Magazines for me.
Luke rode with dad (luke drove! He got his drivers perment on his b-day Wednesday), and I rode with mom. We went to an assistant home to visit my great-grandma.
When we left I rode with Luke and dad (luke still driving) to G-ma's and G-pa's house! Grandma has a new kitten named Misty. So now Muffin their old cat is G-pa's, and Misty is G-ma's. Misty is sooooooooooo playful. She is also Sooooooooooo cute. I will take pics of her and post them on here A.S.A.P.
As far as I know, we aren't doing fireworks, unless our parents loosen up, or us kids buy them.
GRANDPA AND UNCLE MIKE JUST WALKED IN!!!!!!! They were at a ball game.
