Kitten!!

So I'm sitting there, a little over 2 hours ago, in a chair, in our driveway, during our garage sale, reading Twilight; when I kept hearing these "Meow" sounds. I couldn't decide if it was a bird or a cat. But I kept hearing it and it sounded more and more like a cat that was hurt or lost. Sadly, I put Twilight down, and then happily, walked down my driveway. The "meows" got closer and louder and I realized they were coming from the woods of our neighbor (I'll say Mrs. H). I walked up tp their fence and the meows were really close but i couldn't see the cat.

I called Adam who was holding Jesse so she wouldn't follow and he came down. I went back up to the house and asked mom to call Mrs. H and ask if we could go in her woods to look for the cat. She said yes, so I ran back down to the fence where Adam was at and we climbed through and walked into the woods. The meowing continued and I didn't have to walk far before I saw a little gray figure dart through the weeds away from me. I realized it was a little gray kitten and I chased after it. That little kitten was fast and could easily run through the little poison-ivy-like weeds, but I had to go around trees and bush-like things and I couldn't keep up.

Eventually I lost it and so I stopped and then me and Adam heard more meowing. We walked quietly in the direction of the sounds and then saw some gray in the weeds (the poison-ivy-like weeds were taller than the kitten! We slowly walked up to the cat, but it darted off and Adam started chasing it, and he grabbed it but it got away then he grabbed it again and that time he caught it :) But it bit him, lol. And he almost dropped her.

We took her back up to the house, and showed Luke (who didn't care), and mom (dad was still sleeping). We took the kitten to my room and put her in the window seal. She was scared so she hid behind some pillows. I got our cat food out from the time I saw a cat in the barn, we wanted a barn cat so mom bought cat food but it didn't stay... anyways, we got a small bowl and put some cat food in it, which the kitten started eating immeadietly. While she was eating, me and Adam were trying to come up with a good name for her. After a few minutes, I came up with the name Maddie. We both liked it, so that is her name!

Maddie is probably about 2 months old, actually probably a month and a half.. but I really don't know. I don't know where she came from, but she must've had a home because she is really tame and knows how to go up and down the stairs. She purrs a LOT and absolutely LOVES to climb on to my shoulders and snuggle up with my hair. It's so cute! Oh, and she meows a lot too :P When I put her in my room, she gets scared and hides in my closet behind my laundry basket :P

Mom said we can probably keep her and keep her in the house until she gets used to us so she won't run away, and so we know that Jesse won't eat her. When my dad woke up, the first thing he said was "we need to find her owners" and I was like "NO! I'm keeping her XD" I'm evil, but I love Maddie already!! Dad isn't sure if we will keep her or not, but I am sure of it :D But if it doesn't work out, Zoe said she'll gladly take her. She came over to see Maddie, and she likes her.. of course. Only jerks wouldn't like Maddie. Maddi3e w5as just hhhw[lk00000 Oops lol. Sorry about that Maddie stepped on the keyboard (seriously). lol.

I was trying to say that Maddie was just curled up asleep in my laps, and she was using my left arm so most of this post was typed with just my right hand. But then I got up to let Amy out, and Maddie woke up and Adam just took her....

Summer at last

Can you believe it's June already? I can't! This year is flying by so fast! Youth Camp is June 22-26 and I can't wait!! But unfortunately Me and my friend Julie (not real name) are going to be the ONLY girls that are going from our church :( Miley (also not real name) isn't going because she doesn't like camps, and Saylor was going but now she can't because her grandpa is retiring and her family is throwing him a surprise party that Wednesday.. And there is no female counselor to go with us!!!! How horrible! The youth pastors wife can't go because she has her wittle adorwable baby to take care of at home. :( So its just us. Me and Julie in a church van surrounded by all boys ranging from the age of 12-18. Not including Brian (youth pastor). But camp will still be fun nonetheless...

I'm planning on bringing my journal along with me so I can write in it all day long, then when I get home, I'm going to post the not private stuff here on my blog so you guys will know what I did :) EEP! I can't wait :D

July 6-10, my bff Jana who lives 22 hours away from me [:(] is coming here!! Eep! I can't wait!! I haven't seen her since LAST AUGUST (!!) when my bro and I flew down to see her and her family :) My brother went to see her older brother btw. I just can't wait till she gets here! We have a loong list of things to do while she's here :) I'm hoping I can convince Brian to have a game night while Jana is here cause she's never been to one.

May 24th me and my bros went to see Stephanie and Allison, and that was a lot of fun! Right now I'm trying to think of what we did because I forgot most of it... lol. We watched the recorded American Idol finale, and I got to see Jason Mraz sing on there ♥ but he has a mustache which makes him look old and not as good... :( We went to the park and hung out for a while and we went to wal-mart. I can't remember details or anything else we did lol.

Friday night was a game night at church and that was fun. Miley, Julie and I were bored, so we were laying on the floor (me and Miley were laying down, Julie was sitting down) and we were twisting around and we decided to have a race doing that. But then we realized that was too embarrassing, weird, and hard so we came up with something else to do. We decided to army crawl. Ever seen that? It's what soldiers in the army do, they crawl across the ground using only their forearms. But doing it on tile like me and Miley is way easier, but it hurt like.. a lot! We tied. And we were like "Ooooww!!..........let's do that again!!" Yes, we were dumb enough to do it again. And the second time hurt way worse! But it was fun! My knees (I was wearing shorts) were really red, and so were my arms :P

Then Miley and Julie tried to have a crabwalk race (going backwards) and Miley went about a foot and flipped over backwards!! IT WAS SOO FUNNY! She did a backwards somersault. It was so funny I wish I got it on film. But unfortunately I STLL have not found my camera. It's been over a week! GUR.

Today we got Tracey (bird) out for the first time. She actually got on Luke's finger! Before if we put our hand anywhere near her she'd bite us. But today we got her out and we were all holding her and she was actually being nice!! I held her and she crawled up my arm to stand on my shoulder. She has bitten peoples ears before, so I was being careful. I was pretending I was a pirate too :P I need to get a pirate costume.. lol. Jeremy and Caleb were over because they had been over swimming, and Jeremy held Tracey, and she climbed onto his shoulder and then she wouldn't come off! Adam and Luke tried to get her, but she tried to bite them, and when I tried she DID bite me and it hurt! :( But she finally let Luke pick her up. It was funny, she didn't want to leave Jeremy.. :P
