Boring Skool stuff

I'm not normal.. ok? I'm actually excited about school starting back. I usually am.. This post is pretty much just about school, so you don't have to read it if you don't wonnu (won-nu [wun-oou] "want" and "to" put together to form one word. Example: "But mom, I don't wonnu!") yeah I say that word a lot.. I made it up :)


Wednesday (tomorrow) I start my biology class. Really early... but that's just when the teacher starts. I got my biology book in Friday that goes with the class. It's a big book! Unfortuneatly it's about the human body which I really don't care about at all. I want to learn about animal bodies. Mom tells me that it's pretty much the same, and I say that if it's the same, then why can't I take a class about the animal body? Whatever.. at least we'll be doing expericments like looking at things under the microscope, and diseceting which I've done a lot of...

So anyways, mom found out yesterday that I'm supposed to read the fisrt 17 pages of the book and answer some "On your own" questions BEFORE class tomorrow morning!! I just stared about twenty minutes ago.. I'm on the 5th page :)

I'm also going to be taking an English class on Tuesdays. And I'll also be taking German with my brother Luke (just us two in the class :) on Thursdays I think... Oh, and I'm probably going to take guitar lessons from Luke's guitar teacher on Thrusdays too. Last school year, Luke went to German on Thrusdays and then went straight to guitar, and that's what we're probably going to do this year. My other brother, Adam was going to take German, then changed to Spanish and is now back on German, lol. We'll see if he sticks with that. But he says he doesn't want to take a class, but to do it at home instead. So i dunno.

Well, I guess that's it.. I'll post more about other stuff later. I really gotta read my biology.

Biology Experiment

My twin brother Adam, mom, and I all did a awesome biology experiment today. We got some algae from our pond, some pond water, a strand of my hair, and some dirt, and (one at a time) put each under a microscope to examine it.

I even got pictures! Here they are:

This is either pond water or the dust on the glass thingie; because this is the only time we could see anything when we tried to examine the pond water. This pic looks like a golf ball and/or the moon. :P

This is the algae from our pond. I think this one was the 2nd coolest. It looks like bundles of wheat!

This one was the coolest. This is dirt from our yard. It was wet dirt though since it rained yesterday. But it wasn't too wet. It was kind of like clay, but not that hard. Do you know what I mean?
