The Cotton Festival

Hey everyone!
Sorry I haven't posted in like forever (not really). I was going to post about the Cotton Festival either that day or the day after, but mom and dad so no computer or TV that whole weekend.
Anyways: We got to the Cotton Festival (the Dog Show), and we were the first ones there. 1 or 2 other people were there - the workers. Amy was nervous and she wouldn't eat the treats or do tricks, but she would go through the obstacle course. We waited and waited but nobody else showed up! One truck drove up but then turned around and left. And another truck drove up and one of the workers yelled to hum, "You don't happen to have a dog with you, do you?" But he didn't. I told mom we should go home and get Ranger, then Amy would have a LITTLE competition! So we won the obstacle course cause Amy was the only dog! But on the obedience thing, she didn't do so well. Even though we were the only dog, she didn't win! She wouldn't do anything 'cept look around. But then one of the prizes that I got was dog treats, THEN she did tricks! Oh yeah, and two little boys and their parents came, to see the dogs, and they were SO disappointed (the boys that is). I took Amy over there, and the oldest boy (he was probably 5) went in the car still crying, and the younger boy (3) turned around and held on to his dad's leg, and kept crying. Their mom was crouched down petting Amy, and trying to get the boy to pet Amy. The mom asked me, "How old is she?" I told her 3, and then the mom told the little boy, "She's 3 just like you!" and then the 3 year old turned around just the slightest bit and smiled, but he still wouldn't pet Amy.
After the dog show, we went to the Festival (it's not much just tents around the quart house. We looked at everything, and later that day when Shades got home from CAPS, us 3 kids went to the Lindsey's for a few hours, and watched a SCARY movie called 'Hangman's Curse'. NEVER watch that movie. It will give you nightmares for several days. CREEPY!!!!! Well I.W.T.T.P.A.S.A.I.C.I.H. (guess THAT one!)
